something is nuts ? dieing out

my mj is dropping idle is drop to dieing /cutting out ..after driving down the road ,step on the clutch to stop ,it dies ! plus it was backfiring a bit was well ...this just started ??? oh well ,its a jeep......this is the first time over 5 years of ownership i have troubles on the road ...diagnosis time !!! the engine was ''jumping/stumbling was well ... look over the thing today only thing i found was intake air sensor was at ''0'' ohms .....what the blinking moo! road test time next ???

Check inside your distributor cap and make sure it didn't get wet, also check it for carbon tracking

yup did that one its ok .....right now any temps below 45* outside, it craps out after stat up which no trouble but now drive 1000 yds -mash the clutch it drops engine speed to die ....
