hey guys,

i have had the opportunity to have my choice at an estate sale, so i bought a bunch of stuff from the 30s and 40s.

you can see them in ebay if you put my username, SPMLLC on the ebay search.

its alot of real old stuff. i sold a mickey mouse comic for $633.00 jamminz.gif

well there are some things that i can't even find online...google, nothing

so i was wondering if anyone had any experience in antiques and collectables to sort of help

me out finding how much i can sell them for.

here's just one

they are called Sun Pictures

there cool

its a negative that burns into the cardboard for a few seconds when you hold them up to the sun

i got like 7 or 8 of them

i also got a bunch of other stuff but i figured id start out with this one thing

any help will be greatly appreciated

thanks,

Paul

About half way down do ctrl+F and search for Penny

Charles Watson. – Penny. 1957. Pp. 184. Library of Congress: PZ4.W3385 Pe (Delta). British Library: PC 14. h. 48.

Reprinted by Greenleaf Classics in 1967 as Penny and Delicious Nights. Pp. 144. Series. No. Gc-270. British Library copy shelved at: P.C. 28. aa. 4. The novel was also reprinted in 1968 by Continental Classics (Europa Novels series) of Long Island City, New York, as Three on a Spree by ‘Ray Trimble.’ Pp. 158. Series no. EN-107. Penny occupies pp. 3-74, and something called Way Way Out occupies pp. 77-158. A further reprint was done by Collector’s Publications in 1968, Kinsey copy shelved at: AAB4427. Still another reprint appeared in 1968 from Pendulum Books (no. 034), in which Penny is slightly truncated by the omission of the last one-and-a-half pages of the original Paris edition. The Kinsey Institute has two copies of Penny published by the Mediterranean Press. One (temp. control no. AAB3155) is as described above. The other (pressmark: AAC4450) is smaller and described as being in two parts. These comprise: pp. 9-100, Penny and Pp. 103-184, Delicious Nights.

Might want to contact the Kinsey Institute and see if they want another one of the 2 part copies and find out what the value of it is.

So it looks like you've got possibly ~$150-200 for the sun pictures, and an unknown value in the copy of Penny.
