Are XJ chrome handles useable on MJs?

Can I replace my old faded black plastic door handles on my 89 MJ with the nice chrome ones on some of the XJs? Was wondering if they were interchangeable and, if so, which model years would work. I see quite a few nice chrome handles on salvage XJs at the local U Pull It.

Yep. MJ doors are the exact same as the fronts on an XJ 4 door.
