headlight

Recommended Posts

I do not know where the spring is supposed to go. Thank you.

Do you mean to replace the whole headlight assembly or just the headlight itself??

Just replacing a head light involves removing the bezel, four screws, one at each corner. Remove the old headlight, unplug the connector. Installation is reverse of removal.

If you are just replacing a head light and you've gotten down to the adjusters and tension spring...you went too far. I'd actually have to take a look at mine to tell you, I'm at work so I can't.

Keep looking.

Can someone show me the link on how to replace a headlight for a 1989 jeep comanche. I do not know where the spring is supposed to go. Thank you.

i forgot to pm you back, there should be a small hole in the bottom corner (looking at the front, the driver side spring hole should be on the bottom left and the passenger side should be on the bottom right..) as far as the spring connecting to the front panel of the Jeep i would need to take a look at mine as well...
