Garvin Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 I'm not sure on the diff between the 231 and 242 (never owned a 242) but the shift linkage is different between transmissions. Not sure if the BA10/5 and AX15 is different though. The bracket that bolts on the AW4 is contoured different with different holes in it compared to the AX15 and the linkage bars are longer on the AW4 (the AW4 is ~1.5" longer than the AX15).
