Blue88Comanche
looking at the drive shaft chart my stock drive shaft is 43.25 inches from the CT to the D35.. the chart also says the D44 uses a 42.25 inch... so just to confirm I need to get a new drive shaft or have my current one shortened, or is there a way i can make due with what i have? what are some good spring perches? and i plan to keep it spring under axle.. the D44 came from a 91 Cherokee 2wd Thanks. Boots
I used my stock shaft when I did my dana 44 swap. Mine cane out of an MJ but it should be the same. I now have a lift and new shaft but I ran it at stock height with the stock shaft for about a year.
Motion Offroad
It's easier to cut down the yoke than it is the driveshaft. As long as the yoke doesn't bottom out internally you should be able to cut it down a bit if needed.
