SW86
i recieved my two hubs today and when i open the box one clearly is timken but the other I'm not sure about. i thought our timken hubs had black studs and obvious markings like TKM stamped on. one of mine has chrome studs and no timken marking whats so ever like the other. did they send me the wrong one or what? ill post pic if needed. edit: called the company and told them they sent one timken and one thats a Koyo (?). they're sending out a new one as we speak
64 Cheyenne
I was told by a sales rep at Randy's Ring & Pinion that Koyo is as good as Timken, but a lot less expensive. Whoops! Almost said Cheaper :rotf:
SW86
sitting side by side i can see why. the koyo looked cheap. the timken looked like a solid hub. even spinning the two the timken felt, tighter, i guess would explain it. anyway i didnt pay for a "just as good" koyo hub. i paid for a timken. :thwak:
