bbe Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I have an 88 auto 4/d and occasionally the engine just spins no fire getting to it. I have replaced coil, and the distributor system. I have found when it will not start I can shake the hell out of the wiring on top of the fire wall and it will start. Anyone know which wires in there will do this?
maddzz1 Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Sounds like your CPS. Next time it won't start just unplug the CPS connector and plug it back in and see if it starts.
