Noicy fuel pump, on a 87 mj, long bed. Any suggestions?

Heard about a TSB on installing a ballast resistor like the ones on mid 87+ but i cannot find it, does anyone know how to fix this or has dealt with this? The fuel pump can be heard inside. I also heard about installing a 4runner fuel pump. Any input would help. thanks.

I don't think the wiring to add the ballist resistor is there. Without changing to a later wiring harness I don't know how you would add one, unless it could just be spliced into the correct wire.

U are right, I didn't think about changing the wirering system. frome early renix to 88-90 renix. that would be alot of work though.
