captainkettel
Can anyone tell me where the tach sensor is located? I have the 2.8L V-6 motor. My tach on my 1986 Comanche works but is reading about twice the correct rpms. Always worked fine in the past. I am thinking maybe the tach sensor is corroded or is faulty. Any ideas? Anyone else ever had this problem? Thanks...
jimoshel
As you look at the ign coil have the HV and plugs facing you. The tach is the lower right connector. That one is used for testing. There is a remote terminal connector, pigtail, above the heater fan housing. That is the one your dash tach is reading.
