Brenton
My Comanche has been sitting about 2 weeks now. I've started it a few times, but not actually drove it. I parked it working just fine...I thought. Got in it the other day to take it for a drive, pushed the clutch, and it sank to the floor with almost no resistance. Needless to say, couldn't get it in gear. All thoughts and comments appreciated. :help: Thanks.
ParadiseMJ
Did you check the clutch fluid (uses brake fluid)? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29982
Brenton
Did you check the clutch fluid (uses brake fluid)? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29982 Alright, I feel like a rookie now. It was just low on fluid. New question though...First, what are my possible reasons for it being low? And, when I opened the little reservoir, it was kinda gunked up...is that a clue for something? Thanks for any tips.
87Chief
You could probably have a leak somewhere, maybe master or slave cylinder. If it's gunked up I would do a fluid exchange. Just push the pedal, bleed it, then repeat adding new fluid as necessary
