Fezzik
Hey, guys, I'm finally getting back to working on my Comanche, and the multi-function switch is acting up, if you wiggle it the wipers stop working and the high-beams don't work, so I'm thinking the switch is bad, I figure one from an 86-90 will work, I was wondering if a new one would work as well say 91-96 or newer, and do I have to get another one from a tilt column? If it matters its an 88 4.0 B/A-5 with intermittent wiper switch currently and tilt steering wheel. TIA
JeffN
it won't be the arm thats bad, the multifunction arm just plugs into the turn signal switch under the steering wheel, pull the arm back and click for high beams and turn for wipers, the only real thing the multifunction arm really controls is cruise control directly. This is the part you probably need http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/ ... 65848_0_0_
HOrnbrod
If it matters its an 88 4.0 B/A-5 with intermittent wiper switch currently and tilt steering wheel. TIA All the above matters: tilt/non-tilt, delay wipers or not, column/floor shift, and vehicle year. Here's a good place to find the right one: http://www.jeep4x4center.com/jeep-turn-signal-components/jeep-cherokee-xj.htm
