jcComanche86lb Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 Hi guys, I need some help, I got this bellhousing from a friend of mine today. He said that it was from his cj5 with a buick v6. I have a fully rebuilt buick v6 that I have really wanted to put into my comanche. The problem I have is that I don't know what transmission it will bolt up to. Is anyone familiar with the bellhousing? My dog checked it out but he couldn't figure it out either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JeepcoMJ Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 what specific buick v6 are you talking about? there are many different buick v6's. but I can tell you that that won't fit any buick v6 that is newer than 1996, and probably the series 1 buick 3800 won't work with it. those all use a gm 60 degree bellhousing pattern...which that is not. if you're talking the older era 3800, it *may* fit that...but i don't know what you have that you'd be spending the time on with it. that looks like it bolts to a T series transmission, though.
