mnkyboy
My XJ failed DEQ this last time,I put an o2 sensor in and it passed with flying colors. Took under 5 minutes and cost about $50 I haven't taken a vehicle to a shop since I was 16.

I think the last time I had a vehicle in a shop (other than the new ones) was the last time one of mine failed a DEQ - and that time I did the work, and still had to pay a shop to get the waiver. I hate, hate, hate DEQ. At least Washington stops when the vehicle is 25 years old.
mnkyboy
DEQ sucks, the MJs tags are about up and I'm not looking forward to it. I currently don't have a cat on it so I will have to put one on it soon.

mnkyboy
That might work if the person at the DEQ station is a cat lover  I thought about running it through and seeing if they notice, its free if I fail in OR. I ran my chevy luv through with a 231 Buick in it and no cats and they didn't even check.
