MJCARENA Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Was at the junkyards today and found 3 MJs. They were pretty much stripped out. One had a automatic column shift with tilt in it. The only problem is the column is loose (wobbles),don't know if just needs to be tightened up inside or something is worn out. Was wondering if it is worth pulling out. Mine does not have tilt and might put it in mine. Will post up the VIN's later tonight.
JeffN Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 generally when a tilt wheel wobbles, it is just the knuckle that has come loose, go to harbor freight and get a steering wheel pulling set and some inverted torx bits in 1/4" drive with an extension, it really is a pretty simple fix

If I get a chance tomorrow I will go pull it.
