Picked up a small media blaster

After making several calls to equipment rental stores and doing a lot of reading online, I picked up the 20lb pressurized abrasive blaster from the dreaded Harbor Freight. I also stopped by Tractor Supply and got 2 bags of their Black Diamond media. Have a respirator, hood, goggles, and gloves. Need to get some ear plugs.

I will be using this set up to clean the frame and chassis of the Manche.

I am not sure if one of our compressors can run the thing at full power. I am thinking about running 2 compressors to a manifold on the blaster, each regulated to 90psi. If I am understanding the air dynamics correctly this should just provide more volume, not pressure. Is that right?

I may get a filter for the blaster as well, to keep moisture out of the pot. Not sure if that is necessary because it is stone cold outside with very low humidity.

Blaster is assembled and I plumbed in a moisture filter. Plan on blasting Saturday followed then apply a healthy dose of Marine Clean and Metal Ready to get that coating POR15 loves.

I need some suggestions regarding the most efficient way to blast the MJ. My tentative plan is to start with the rear frame rails then move to the engine bay and lower firewall, followed by the under carriage and floor pans. Hope to put the front tires on ramps to get the truck sitting at an angle, on a clean tarp. I will bring a cleaned shopvac to try and recycle some of the media.

The truck sit as an empty shell on the stock axles and suspension. I plan to pull and rebuild all suspension components as part of my build, as well as install new D44's. I will wrap the axle vents with duct tape as well as the brake drum inlets and power steering box. Any other words or wisdom?
