89 renix inline 6 with auto, wont go over 90 km/hr (55m/hr)

he picked up an 89,

but as the tittle says, it don't go too fast,

some things that could cause this??

Make sure the torque convertor is all the way seated on the trans. Sounds stupid, but it has happened, and it does this

exact same thing your saying.

i bought a jeep but when i drive it, it won't go over 90km and it seems to shift from 2-3-4 quick then down to 3 and back to 4. whats wrong?
