Headlights dim when I tap brakes ?????

What might be some common problems and fixes for this its a 86 comanche, 2.5L 4cyl What might make my :idea: lights dim when i tap the brakes even the interior lights dim????? Thanks

A common thing that leads to electrical bugs in these is grounding issues.Tracing and cleaning the ground contacts usually helps.

 

I assume it is not a charging system issue as you do not mention it happening when other draws are made on the system, just the brake lights.
