JACKED88
I was sitting at a red light today and noticed a little puff of smoke come out from around my horn button. I'm concerned weather the smoke was coming from the horn button itself or from something further down inside my steering column. The only thing that was turned on in the column was the ignition. I've never smelled smoke in the cab including the smoke I saw today. It had no odor. We all know what it smells like when we let the smoke out of something electrical including wire. I didnt smell anything. Anybody seen or had this happen before???
vaquaro
Had a simular situation , eventually the wipers quit , opened up the steering column and found a fried wiper/stalk switch . Just one of many possibilities .....Check out some of the tear-down in DIY or Tech before you start
