87manche
temp guage sender is in the back of the head, drivers side. I think it's 3/8 npt threaded.
Derek
on the back, like up against the firewall? or on on the drivers side but towards the firewall? cause i looked around quick the other night and didnt see anything
Red Dog
The sensor 87manache is refering to is located on the top of the head, driver side, as close to the firewall as the head goes. Its pretty small, 1/8" NPT (if I remember correctly) and is a blind hole drilled and tapped in the head. If you are looking to hook up a mechanical temp gauge (copper capiliary tube) this is not the place to do so.
87manche
you could also go and find an ho thermostat housing, they had a temp sender hole in them.
