GirsMJ86
i was going to get some TSLs but decided not to since the road would eat em. so i am going with some Maxxis Buckshots. from what i hear they work really well also. guess i will wait and see. then again my 86 had some Lemans A/T tires and did great while mud running through a swamp so idk. 87manche
running these on the road is only temporary, until after the holidays and I can afford some 33x9.5 mall terrains
Twisty
what size are they? I'm thinking about getting some Q78's for the MJ next summer.
Bounty Hunter
I think his are the SS 34"x9.5". Q78's for my YJ too, deep tread and just shy of 36" diameter.
87manche
yeah, these are 34x9.5 SS bias ply. 27/32's tread depth, like the q78's. They're noisy and flat spot for about the first 5 miles. I love them. Road tires are in the works, some generic mile marker brand 33x9.5's. Just because I don't want to eat these up on the road. I can get a set of the 33x9.5's for what two of these cost.
Twisty
thats great, i was wondering what Q78's would look like on an MJ. how much lift do you have on there? I'm hoping to squeeze the Q's with ~4.5" in the front, and a simple spring over in the back.
