wranglercory
I need to re-phrase my last post. I previously had a high idle problem that would only go away when the IAC was tapped on pretty hard. I swapped that with another one but now the idle problem is all good but just when its started up it should idle up a little then slowly come down to a steady idle. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas , I was considering removing power to the truck and reconnecting the battery to see if it relearns th eidle position at a cold start up. :???:
Pete M
yes, the IAC controls the idle speed. have you tried cleaning it?
wranglercory
The IAC that is on the 2.5 is a completely sealed unit not like th e4.0 that has a plunger style one.The only moving part is the idle stop that rests against the throttle body plate.
