-SHANE- Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 I just installed a new wheel hub on the passenger side . when the old hub & barring came loose from where it sits the shaft came out and was DRY & kinda rusty shouldn't it be sealed & lubed ?
Geonovast Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Only the last couple inches with the splines are supposed to be sealed in the diff. Rest of the shaft stays dry.
