wranglercory
I am having a problem with my 87 2.5 AX5 short bed two wheel drive MJ. I have been told that the sensors don't do anything untill it is up to opperating temp. so not sure swapping sensors would help. But If it is a vaccum leak why would it go away after it warms up and sometimes when I tap the throttle? Well any help would be great anyone out there have any suggestions? The problem is that it idles high after I start it sometimes it won't idle high till I have given it gas .
Pete M
the truck pays no mind to the oxygen sensor (and possibly the MAP but I can't remember for sure) until warm-up. it always stays in contact with the idle controller and throttle position sensor.
