Geonovast
Are you using a proper Torx socket?
mule13
easiest way to get it out is put a jack under the transfer/tranny mount, loosen the bolts and let it down a little, from there you should be able to get a 3/8 ratchet with a socket on it prolly a short extension too.it your a 2x4 just put the tranny jack on the tranny and remove the tranny mount and let it down some.don't forget to support the back of the engine when you pull the tranny out. Geonovast
I meant the Torx bolts. Every one of those I've removed have gone straight into the scrap pile.
