Going to seek the all knowing advice of Comanche Club in quest of finishing off my U.A.V. Grand Cherokee on this one... Awhile back I stumbled onto this brush guard for my ZJ on CL, and scooped it up for $120 bucks. After some struggling, I got the factory tow hooks it needed for install, and tossed it on... Looks Durn good if I say so myself. 8)

But that gaping hole in the center needs some lights... Good lights. I have cheapo's in the attic, and they aren't touching this thing. I was thinking about some Hella 500's, for a classic look, and nice functionality. But I am not sure. What do you guys think? PIAA's are always an option also... and don't forget to answer this biggie... Round or square? I am trying to keep it under $100, match the theme of the ZJ, and functional working light.

Just fishing for some input...

I put some Hella driving lights on mine (I thought I was ordering fogs...). These are the micro ones, but they're very bright, including a great installation harness and they're very cheap (about $50). I'd suggest staying with squared off lights since there aren't really any round edges on your truck.

Do you plan on operating the lights when other vehicles are around? If so, ignore me.

I have a set of 4" 6000K HID lights I picked up from O Reilys online a few years back. Now they only sell the 7" variety. Throughout the years I have tried several different lights, and these 4" HIDs are by far the best. These two little lights out-lit my buddy who has 4 Hellas on his rig. See the below picture for an example on a night run up Imogene Pass in CO.

If you would like to go this route, contact Josh at http://www.skinnypedal.com He is a sponsor of the rubiconownersforum.com and indicated he could get full metal HID off road lights for a better price than the plastic things I have. You can tell him I sent you.
