MJ'87 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 on the way to school this morning i started to hear a really loud, kind of grinding sound coming from the dash. and then the needle in the speedometer started creeping up when i wasnt accelerating, then the needle started vibrating so much that it was bouncing between the gauge and the plastic. what happened
CEThomas Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Sounds like it's getting worn. Pull the cable and lube it, have the same problem with the speedo in my Capri and have to lube it every other month. Charles
