Noticed the short bed brace is about 30 inches long and the long bed brace is about 41 inches long if my scale is close to right. Has anyone used a short bed brace in a bobbed long bed or even the short bed cross bed brace in a long bed? Wondering about possible space for a second gas tank in place of the spare tire.
