1bdmj Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 I bought a 1992 mj and the guy took the front flares off and the body is all cut up. I want to put the tj flares on the front but i want to know if any one here has done this here and can give me a write up and pics of how they did thairs. Robert.
GirsMJ86 Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 it can be done and there are a few on here who have done it. i quite frankly don't like the look of them but was thinking of useing the rear TJ flares both front and back on mine if it would work. Alex
87manche Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 my brother has tj rear flares all the way round on his XJ. I think it looks good. search www.xjdb.com big photo database.

CWLONGSHOT Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I agree with using the rears on all four corners. It looks much "cleaner" than using fronts and rears.  CW

1bdmj Posted November 1, 2006 Author Posted November 1, 2006 jomj87, do you have some pics of how you cut the fenders and mounted the flares. Idont have a bed on my mj so i only need to the front and i already have the tj front flares, but i do like the look of the rears on the front ill have to look into it. thanks robert
JOMJ87 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I don't have any pics of it in progress  But i will tell you how i cut them. I aligned the top of the flare with the ridge on the top of the fender and marked on the inside where they mount. I also used rivets and selftapping screws to attach. Cole
