mikeviera Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Hello all, I am looking to get a valve cover gasket for my 88 comanchee 4.0l i6. I have been looking on the internet to find the right gasket, but am getting all kind of different gaskets and prices... prices are varying from $5 - $80, cork to rubber cork. I'm really not sure what is right or what is wrong.... Does anyone know what the right gasket is that i should get? where i can get it? thanks in advance -Mike
wranglercory Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 just take yours off and go to the auto parts store they will be able to match it up for you. I would go with the rubber gasket.
HOrnbrod Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 This is the one you need for your 88 4.0. It's nearly idiot proof. Fel-Pro - Valve Cover Gasket Set Part Number: VS50522T
