mike87mj Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 so I'm gettin ready to strip my truck and repaint it need to clean the rust and just make it look good but i wanna know if i need to paint the inside of my bed? i have a really nice bed liner and plan on using it still so can i just paint up the sides and the bed rail caps and call it good? :dunno: or will i run into peeling/chipping issues later? my bed liner will cover the bed rail caps when done too. any info will help thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
johnj92131 Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Had my 91 long bed repainted last year. It has had a bed liner and a SnugTop since new. Still had them pull the bed liner and the SnugTop, then paint the bed at the same time. Cost me extra to get the shell painted that way. And yes, the bed was in very good shape.
