So, I installed a tilt column in a 89 comanche, the multi control has intermitent wiper option, the truck stock did not. the wipers work but not the intermtitent setting. is there a module I'm missing ? where is it located in the truck?

You need to install the intermittend wiper module in the wiper motor wiring harness. Just unplug at the bottom of the column at the connector and insert the module, like this one:
