88 Beast Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 I think my CPS finally gave out. Cranking no start, going to start t/s tonight. I have testers that connect to spark plug wire in place of spark plug and clamps to a ground to check for spark. Which one would I use? HEI or standard ign.type? Thanks for the help. one_bad_MJ Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 spray it with brake cleaner down in the hole it goes in to wash the crap off of the flywheel pickups and once running spray it while running so it washes the cps off and the flywheel my xj had that problem hard starts and no start 3.00 can of brake cleaner fixed it.
