Ipaman
Well, I was going to build a cherokee but my friend had this comanche body sitting in his yard. After some negotiating I had my MJ. It has the following: 6.5" RC Coils RC adjustable control arms 16" treadwright 33" tires - GoodYear MTR knockoffs Spring over axle rear with 1.5" cherokee lift shackles(.75" lift) Welded Dana 35 - Spare shafts in Tool Box Dana 30 with Aussie Locker - Spares in Box C-Rok steering box brace Bobbed Bed During The Build: Image Not Found Image Not Found After: Image Not Found Image Not Found Decided to do a little cutting after having some bad rubbing on the front fenders: Image Not Found This was the hardest thing to do. I bought and built this to wheel, not restore, so after going wheeling the first time I knew the bed had to be bobbed. We are not finished with it yet but this is where I am at right now. I can't decide if I want to use my tailgate again so for now I put some temp lights up. A bumper and tire carrier is coming soon. I am thinking some 2x4 or 2x6 welded to the frame, and then wrapped around the rear qtrs. Whatever we do it will look good. GreenF350
I remember the add for parts off this truck on NAXJA, it woulda been a shame to part this one out. Glad to see its alive, good work!
Ipaman
Yes, it was on Naxja. It was on jack stands right next to the cherokee I was going to build. After seeing it enough I knew I had to build it back instead. It had the whole drivetrain stripped and a bad motor in it.
Ipaman
Cleaned up that rear frame a bit. Added a piece of 3/16 - 1x3 tube and cleaned and painted everything. I am going to build some type of bumper off this. I also cut my rear quarters, and painted my front bumper.
