mjstiltheydie Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Does anyone have any idea why there would be a sound of escaping gase vapor when I losen my gas cap? I have an 88 Comanche Chief with 4.0 and five speed. Any help would be appreciated.
Automan2164 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Most likely not escaping, but gasping... You tank vent may be clogged, and as it draws the gas, it can't bring in air until you pull the cap... Rob L.
