gauge issues

I have the opposite issue with my tach. When I'm running down the road at say 70 mph, it's off the chart. the engine is not screaminmg, I'd guess somewhere between 2500-3000. any ideas?

 

also, my dash directional arroes do not light up. I changed the bulbs, no diff. the exterior lights are all working fine.

 

my temp guage reads just off the blue after running the highway for a half hour. Normal? pleanty of heat from the heater.

If you have a 4-cylinder, I doubt that your RPMs at 70 MPH are 2500 to 3000. What transmission do you have, what axle ratio do you run, and what tire size are you on? And what are the actual RPMs reading on your tach? Are you saying the needle is pegged at the end of the scale?
