AutoMoto
Bought my first Comanche yesterday, and the PO just redid the head. The valve cover looks like someone took a squirt bottle, and misted it. Do you think it needs a gasket or is one of the seals on top leaking? Lenard
could be the oil cap on top of your valve cover, i have yet to see a oil cap on these trucks that doesn't let oil run all over the place.

RLCollins
something else you want to look at; is the small hard plastic line that comes from the back top of the valve cover to the intake mainifold. This line is the PVC valve with the metering device within the valve cover, and becomes clogged, it seems that the line is to be to small in diameter and becomes clogged very easily. Take the line loose from the top of the valve cover with the engine running to see if it is sucking a vacuum. Mine was clogged and I blew it out with compressed air. Work fine now. This just seem to be one of the inherited problems with this system. :chillin:
