MJ/XJ Instrument cluster ground

Anyone know exactly where the instrument cluster grounds to on an '89 MJ? And Is it the Same in a '91 XJ? Instrument cluster is dead in my MJ and I think it may be a ground issue. Gas guage is wrapped around way past full and the other guages all froze in the normal operating position. Any ideas? I blew the motor in the XJ when this happened so I'd really like to get it figured out before I drive the truck anymore.
