gage cluster years

went to the pick-n-pull here today and was looking for a full set of gages, pulled one out of a 96 xj, and it was all electric, same for the 95 and 94 ones that i pulled. what is the latest year that i can pull gages out of and work for my 88?

 

Did get a nice wood engrained dash cover face plate though for $7. :D

 

Also a plus, did not see any MJs :clapping:
