pilotblake
What would an 89 4.0 cherokee with 7 or 8 inches of lift and 35's get for mileage. Has to do better than my V8 right?
Geonovast
That's a very broad question. There are tons of things that affect mileage. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the motor or control system, that would completely depend on gearing. With 35s, if you're running 3.07 gearing, you'll probably get 4 or 5 MPG. With 4.88s, you might get lucky with around 16. But these are just guestimates, someone that has you configuration may have to chime in.
pilotblake
I am going to look at it, but I have to guess it is stock gearing. From what it sounds like to me its the 35 out back 30 up front. I have a 98 bonneville that I am looking at trading him for it. Car has 173,000 miles but I have owned it since new and would think it would have another 60-80,000 left in it.
