What now?

I bought a 1995 YJ TF904 to replace my 1986 2.8 MJ TF 904. Now my mechanic tells me the torque converters are different. Not only that but the YJ transmission is a lock up and my MJ is a non lock up. So I am assuming there is a electric module to signal the trans to lock up.

Is there a work around anyone knows of? Will a manual shift kit work? Is there such a thing?

Any help will be greatly appreciated
