smithe1811 Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Found this hose just hanging there, could this be why my parking brake does litterally nothing to stop/slow my truck from rolling backwards?its the one on the top left and it goes down to the top of the axle, the hose on the right. oh and where does it connect to? dasbulliwagen Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Thats the rear axle vent tube to allow for air contraction/ expansion. They usually have a cap on the end that floats there so that dirt water don't get into the axle. just tie it up better or leave it, its not hurting anything, and has nothing to do with your brakes.
