CWLONGSHOT Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 Well, first off, the Aisin Warner AX5 is a manual shift transmission and the Aisin Warner AW4 is an automatic. Two completely different transmissions. So, aside from being madefrom the same company, nothing on them is really exchangeable. Are you confusing the AX5 with the AX4?
