reson46
I've been looking into options for replacing the stock steering and came across the JB 4x4 raised steering bracket. The pictures on their site aren't the best so I requested a few larger ones. Looks fairly well built. Do the attachment points look strong enough? See any reason to be afraid of this? Thanks, Willy
BLHTAZ
I see no reason to be afraid of it. I wish that had been available when I built our YJ, but I used a drop pitman arm, cut off the big end, flipped it over and welded it on to the knuckle to create my own similar set-up. SuperWade2
Are those 3 bolts in the first pic drilled thru the cast knuckle? that seems a little sketchy to me...

You have to drill and tap the holes for the bolts. I would trust that more than the welding that we did on the cast knuckle on our YJ...although ours has held well so far. Grade 8 bolts are going to be stronger than a weld.
