attaching the gas tank straps

The tank on my rig was attached to the frame with metal straps and screws, so i bought some proper straps to hold it in place, they are too short to reach the bed and it look like there might be some kind of bolt with a j hook at the end that holds it to the bottom of the bed.

 

Am I correct in assuming this? and if so what size/length bolt should I be looking for?

yup, there is a j bolt that goes into the frame. I think they are about 4-5" long, 3/8" diameter. any parts store should have j bolts in the 'help' department.

thanks, I picked up some turnbuckles from the late night home despot last night and they should do the job
