comaaron Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 hello i have a problem on transfer case mine is bad in my 92 comanche i know somebody who has one from a 86 with a v6 mine is the straight 6 mine is probably electronic while that one is vacumn can i use it or should i find another one possible one from a cherokee what years can i use from a cherokee or is the vacummn one to much work need help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
deziped Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 The 86 is not a direct bolt in. Stay with a 91 to 95 and you'll have no problems using the exact same model trf case. Geonovast Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 You can use an 89 or 90 too, as long as it has a 23 spline input. The vacuum is just for the CAD, and you can cap those off.
