Pete M Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Are you planning to use the Ford radius arms for your suspension? If the front axle is indeed from a 78 F-150, it'll have the cast radius arm mounts which are a real pain to work around when converting to a different suspension design.
mx215 Posted November 8, 2008 Author Posted November 8, 2008 i really just want to upgrade my axles for bigger tires. I really don't want to change front suspension but i do plan on 4 linking the rear. i really like this rig http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... 186&page=5 military green truggy i need to read up on it
Pete M Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 A 4-link may be difficult if the axle is a 78 Dana 44. http://littlekeylime.com/MrN/Spicer/img ... alfton.jpg Are these axles built up? or stock?
