smithe1811 Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 Was having power to you ciggerette lighter an option? my 86 and my first 88 both had it, there was two wires going to the back of the plug. the 88 i have now only has one wire. could i just get the wires from an xj of the same year? xj_dummy Posted October 1, 2008 Share Posted October 1, 2008 I believe that the two wires are;positive from your batterey and negetive for a ground wire. And thats all you would need. I would find out what wire (color) that goes to your liter now, if its positive then run a ground and then you would be ok.
