we tried a new cps and it would not do anything becides turnover so we took it off and let it sit and when i put the old cps back in so we could take it to the shop or something it satarted AND RAN i drove it around parked it back at my house tried it when it was hot it started and then let it sit till it was cold and it would not start

look at the pic u put up i wish i would of took a of mine but it looks like this i can see the mod you are talking bout but mine looks different from the one you have even if they would not of modded it look at the actual sensor part they look different and what about the gromet could it start once and then not want to start agin if the gromet was not there or tore up and pete m you posted this pic this sensor looks different also

http://autorepair.about.com/library/a/1i/bl637i.htm this the web site i have been on it talks about a slotted CPS i don't no if that will fix my truck but i do know that there is no spark it cranks but will not start . it gives part # but they don't check out i am looking for this mysterious Slotted CPS if anyone can help that would be great also the CPS i have not the Gromet it tore up and would it be possible for it to start at all whitout the gromet ( or a bad Gromet) because it started ones with no gromet and now won't start

ooh just 4 kix and giggles i went out and tried to start it up agin after it cooled off and it cranked but would not start go figure

i think i have some of yal confused my truck has a problem that just comes up every once and a while. it will crank forever but it will not start. we have read online different things about CPS sensors we took the CPS off and went to and got a new one we put the new CPS in and it was still doing the same problem. we took the new CPS off and left it for about 5 days. we took back the new CPS and got our money back. I put the old one back in today and it started just fine i drove it around and it still would start. some times i wish it would just not work all the time so i could figure out what is wrong. i realized that my old CPS gromet was shot and i need to put a new one on Could that be the problem i just want to know what yal think ps it is a 91 jeep comanche inline 6, 5 speed stick

we thought that was it and we replaced it and it is still doing the same thing could it just be a bad computer i am at my wits end

A while back my truck was having problems starting. We after replacing coil distrubuiter and all the iginiton wires we went to the computer we rubed some Dio electric gresse on the terminial and it worked. super bowl sunday it had a little problems starting up but i got it going. it did the same things at my house agin the next week. and today it did it and we tried everything we would think of and it still won't crank we will probly have to get it towed i just want to know if yal have had this problem

i need the outer lower trim peice for my driver window i can get it 4 25 bux at the dealer but i want to no if ne one has messed wit there b4

did the same thing i was gunna cut a donut in a wet parking lot and i only made it half way and the truck dies and ya it scared the crap out of me

well guys my prob has been resloved lol well when i was leaving school i guess my foot got too heavy and i was running through the gears and i barked 2nd and then when to third and when i hit third i herd a pop began to lose power and had no oil preassure and i thought i killed the beast i got home and i had busted the tab holding the distrubuiter in place and i was like wow after a day i finaly got the timing back right and a new distrubuter in and well i am happy :) lol but note to self we have some major torque

i did replace the o rings that that is the weird thing i went to the dealer and well there are 3 o rings and well i replaced them and it is still leaking lol i have no clue why they are not sealing right they seemed a little smalll but that is what the dealer gave me i might have to do that conversion if i can't figure it out now ps where can i buy that conversion and how much is it

guys there is a thing leeking oil on my mj lol like all of them lol but there is a peice comming off my block that turns up where you screw on the oil filter is leeking oil and i replace the o rings and well i just want to no if anyone has this prob and when they do to fix it or just to cope wit it

will an exhaust for a cherokee fit on my comanche i have holes all in it and i plan on just getting a hole new one well from a pull a part from the manafold back will it fit ???????

aight guys i can't even explane how dumb i am when i was tightning up one of my oil pan bolts after puting seelent on it well the head snaped off how can i get it out plz help

the longer it sits the smother it gets i think that pic was taken liek a month after i put it inbut i would advise puting floor mats in bc i did not and it is realy hard to get ground in dirt out u no just a thought i love mine i have spilt everything on it ,it just wipes up

i put it in there and just trimed and fix it till it fix like i wanted it to and as it gets hot is smooths out

hey i don't know if this will work but is anyone out there know about 97 Cherokee sports well it that year they did away with speakers in the back hach door well they used a sound bar like thing you would see in a tj but wel ya a was wondering if it would fit in my mj and is anyone out there has done it and if it is worth it
