So I turn the key on my Comanche and nothing happens like the battery is dead but took it somewhere and they told us the battery tested good... So me and my dad popped the clutch got it running drove it for a little pulled back in the driveway shut it off and it still wouldn't start any ideas?

I just bought my 87 same engine same transmission for $1000 that paint was a little nicer though but mine has less miles

Mine is a 4 speed manual right now. But I can still use a 5 speed manual and it will bolt up the same right? Thanks

If I want to change my 87 2.5 4 cyl comanche to 4wd, what am I looking for? I want to keep it manual also.... so am I look for an mj or xj with manual transmission, and then I can just swap all the necassary parts over?

Hi everyone I'm new to this and recently bought a 1987 jeep Comanche 2.5 4 cyl 4 speed manual, the gas gauge doesn't work on it and I swapped it out with a junkyard cluster but the gas gauge still didn't work any ideas?? Also if I wanted to change this to 4wd what all would I need? Thank you! -John
